Over the past twelve months, the readers of Residential Design + Build magazine have asked its editors about products featured in the magazine. The most requested products are listed every December in the order of popularity. This year, ArchiCAD 15 was ranked 4th on the list (page 20).

ArchiCAD Wins 4th PlaceArchiCAD 15 was GRAPHISOFT’s BIM software version for 2011. It featured built in tools to facilitate LEED certification, passive house and creating energy efficient design through the add-on of EcoDesigner.

We are of course very happy have Residential Design + Build readers requesting information on ArchiCAD 15. But we know that if they liked ArchiCAD 15 they’ll LOVE ArchiCAD 16 which has all the functionality of the EcoDesigner add-on built directly into the BIM software. All the calculations of those variables that impact energy use and consumption can be made at the initial design phase – saving time, money and helping architects choose materials that will improve a building’s efficiency at its beginnings and well into the life of the structure.

And ArchiCAD 16 does so much more, there’s the MORPH tool, the BIM Components and of course the previously mentioned energy evaluation feature.
