This video clip is part one of a two-part interview featuring Chuck Goodman of iPda and his use of ArchiCAD BIM.
Goodman discusses some recent projects in which he works with ArchiCAD to virtually model reality. In one case, the ArchiCAD BIM software served to bring a new understanding of building design – prompting the owner to remark “This is the first time I’ve ever understood my building.”

Agree whole heartedly with Chuck as he describes rethinking the appropriate labels, that describe roles and responsibilities, is useful with the use of avante-garde BIM technology, ie modelers and annotators. In our recent case study project V V V, we coined the term “View Maker” as contributors to the BIM, relating to all disciplines, and particularly the GS BIM Serverâ„¢. We applaud your efforts Chuck, and video, here at Scarmack Architecture |:-) …….
