There are many ways to integrate BIM into a successful design and documentation workflow and process – one method in particular from an award winning firm will be the focus of an AIA San Francisco event.
San Francisco based ArchiCAD firm, Walker Warner Architects have completed more than 200 projects in several different parts of the United States. The firm received multiple awards including Business Week / Architectural Record Award, Best of the Bay, Small Firms Great Projects and AIA Honolulu Design Award. The firm has also been exhibited at SFMOMA as part of “How Wine Became Modern: Design + Wine 1976 to Now”.
On Wednesday, March 27th, you are invited to the AIA San Francisco office at 130 Sutter Street to hear Brooks Walker and Greg Warner of Walker Warner Architects discuss the ways in which the firm has used BIM to improve their workflow, even while expanding opportunities for design.
Their presentation will cover how they’ve managed to integrate BIM into their projects. In addition, the presentation will illustrate how the integration of BIM supports their design process on those projects. You’ll learn how they use 3D modeling for design clarifications and how construction documentation has improved since their adoption of BIM.
Attendees will receive 1.25 AIA CES LU’s
