BIM and High Performance Collaboration

At Booth – # 658 during Build Boston, Graphisoft will be showing BIMx and demonstrating new Renovation features in ArchiCAD 15.

Director of Virtual Design and Construction, Kurt Ameringer, will be a featured speaker at the Build Boston Learning Stage – a live free event on the show floor. Scheduled for Thursday, November 17th at 3pm, the topic he’ll discuss - BIM and High Performance Collaboration.

Ameringer will explain how ArchiCAD BIM offers access to a live building information model anywhere, anytime. ArchiCAD BIM is helping owners, contractors, architects and engineers to log into the project and see the other trades working. Project updates can be reviewed and communicated to team mates through a built-in instant messenger tool –  from the office, jobsite trailer, local coffee shop or from 30,000-feet with inflight WiFi. No longer just part of the architect’s vivid imagination – GRAPHISOFT® ArchiCAD® with GRAPHISOFT® BIM Server™ accomplishes it now.

The event session led by Ameringer will help you:

• See how projects are shared between cross-discipline project members and how each trade is involved in the design process

• Learn how GRAPHISOFT BIM Server supports user rights for team management and server level security to protect project data

• Discover how conflicts are resolved live within the model in minutes rather than days or weeks

• Evaluate the benefits of working within a single model that is always up-to-date with complete information

Connect and Collaborate with the ArchiCAD User Group

Also at Build Boston – we invite you to exchange ideas and interact with industry peers, fellow ArchiCAD users and members of the GRAPHISOFT Staff at a special breakout, ArchiCAD User Group session during Build Boston. The group meeting offers a unique opportunity to mingle and make connections with other ArchiCAD users in the greater Boston area as well as a chance to take part in the ArchiCAD Presentation: Renovate, Refurbish, Revitalize, a demonstration of how ArchiCAD 15 assists architects in meeting demand for renovation and refurbishment projects. The presentation will cover ArchiCAD 15’s use energy analysis applications and how it provides before-and-after energy use of renovation projects; the functionality that allows ArchiCAD 15 to provide data to analyze the cost benefits of building renovation compared to new construction and highlight the changes to an advanced BIM workflow in ArchiCAD which increases productivity and effectiveness.
