In a recent press release GRAPHISOFT announced signing with Fernandes Arquitetos Associados (FAA).

FAA

The well-known Brazilian firm with an impressive portfolio, including two 2014 World Cup arenas had been on a competitor’s BIM platform, namely Revit, since 2007. The firm researched alternatives to that platform in keeping with its commitment to consistently streamlining their design process while adding value to their customers. The firm evaluated ARCHICAD and determined it to be a superior software. In addition, Daniel Hopf Fernandes, Founder of FAA pointed out – switching to ARCHICAD freed the firm from the new commercial policy introduced by Autodesk.

“Our main motivation for changing software was Autodesk’s new commercial policy, which is counter-productive to the Brazilian economy,” Fernandes said. After testing and using ARCHICAD, the firm has concluded that it is a superior software. “ARCHICAD integrates with Rhino — and it is more user-friendly and intuitive. ARCHICAD also offers us greater modeling freedom and allows us to model and document in one single platform,” he added.
