Please join us at the Woodbury School of Architecture Computer Lab in San Diego! These FREE sessions are geared for those considering making the move to ARCHICAD BIM technology and existing users looking to brush up on their skills.
July 14th 10am-2pm: BIM Basics
This hands-on session will walk attendees through the building information modeling (BIM) process in ARCHICAD. We will review the ARCHICAD user interface and demonstrate the steps needed to design and document a small project. Fundamental ARCHICAD modeling and documentation techniques will be explained.
Participants will learn:
How to get started with ARCHICAD, right out of the box
Simple modeling techniques for designing in 3D
Adding detail to the model
July 15th 10am-2pm: Advanced BIM Concepts
In this session, we will review the extended commands and tools that make ARCHICAD more powerful.
Topics include:
Layout Publishing
Teamwork and BIM Server
Tips on schedules and database functionality
Rendering and visualization techniques
