The world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building – AKA, Greenbuild is coming up. Scheduled for November 20-22 at the Philadelphia Convention Center, the event is shaping up to be one of the best ever. Former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is the keynote speaker on Thursday, 11/21/13 beginning at 6:30.

grb13_hillaryThe Greenbuild Expo truly brings together industry leaders, experts and professionals who are doing work that is dedicated to sustainable building every single day. I sincerely hope you are able to attend Greenbuild 2013 on November 20th and 21st in Philadelphia, PA. If there is a cooler, hipper, more rocking trade show out there – please let me know, but for the sake of brevity and for the duration of this post, let’s agree that this year’s Greenbuild in Philly will take the title.

When you have Bon Jovi as the entertainment, Hillary Clinton is the keynote speaker and you’ll be in the city that turned the cheese steak sandwich into a legendary experience – how can it be anything less than fantastic?2013-bonjovi-usgbc

We are going to provide additional excitement for the Greenbuild expo by telling you what GRAPHISOFT will be doing there. You can find GRAPHISOFT exhibiting at booth #2748 (click here if you need a free expo pass). We will demonstrate ArchiCAD 17, which contains built in methods for determining energy values so that architects can be well-informed to make design decisions at the outset of a project, when it is most cost-effective to do so. In ArchiCAD 17, architects will see improved Energy Evaluation tools supporting multiple thermal zones that work withing standard compliant technology. By creating a streamlined energy analysis workflow, architects can use their ArchiCAD BIM as a Building Energy Model (BEM).

If the AIA 2013 show was any indication, the joint will be jumping with activity new ideas, demonstrations of ArchiCAD 17, the new, top-rated BIMx Docs and so much more.

Greenbuild is becoming THE show to attend – with so many terrific benefits, remember we’ll be there to answer any questions you may have about the products you already use and guide you as you move through an amazing networking experience.
