Model Energy Efficient Buildings with ArchiCAD 18 at Greenbuild 2014
N’awlins! We’re coming to see you!
And we are so excited to demonstrate ArchiCAD 18 – the latest version of GRAPHISOFT’s industry-leading BIM software solution for architects and designers in booth #813 at this year’s Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in New Orleans, LA from October 21st through the 24th. This powerful software, ArchiCAD 18, features design workflows that support the sustainable design process. Architects can evaluate a building’s energy needs and use through Building Energy Modeling which is integrated directly into ArchiCAD 18.
That last sentence pretty much sums up the longstanding commitment GRAPHISOFT has made to sustainable design. When an architect has the benefit of seamless integration of building energy modeling solution right in the building information model, designers can generate an indicative energy footprint early in the process to inform decisions about energy use and ultimately result in more sustainable buildings. How cool is that?
ArchiCAD 18 provides built-in methods for determining energy values to advise and inform design decisions from the outset. ArchiCAD’s built-in Energy Evaluation converts the BIM (Building Information Model) to a BEM (Building Energy Model) providing analysis of the existing model with integrated solutions and instant performance reports. This functionality allows architects to utilize energy analysis to achieve optimum energy performance in their designs.
We look forward to seeing you at Greenbuild Booth #813!
