BIM Conference 2013 – Be There!

BIM Conference 2013 – Be There!

October may seem many months away – and to be fair, it is. But we all know how the end of summer gets here as if we weren’t paying attention and then school starts up and the next thing you know – it’s time to put up Halloween decorations. And you know this because there are Christmas trees and tinsel and holiday music playing at your local department store.

Time Flies – Don’t Delay Registration (Save $100 by Registering Before August 31st)

Time flies – and there really is no reason to delay in registering for the North America GRAPHISOFT BIM Conference. It is fast approaching – and as trite as it sounds, it will be here before you know it.

There are so many benefits to attending – our friend Jared spelled them out in a Dave Letterman style top ten list – but we’re going to be brief, because we know you are not going to waste any more time debating… plus you want to get your pumpkins early!

Keynote Speakers You Don’t Want to Miss

We are very excited about our Keynote speakers. Each one merits attention in his own right but together in one venue? That’s something.

Jonathan Segal

Keynote Jonathan Segal

Jonathan Segal, FAIA has made a reputation for himself as a visionary architect. Segal will address the conference on the topic of “Architect as Developer” – his theory of putting design first and the architect in full control to improve city environments, enhance community life and achieve financial satisfaction. He is a dynamic and compelling speaker, you won’t want to miss.

Keynote Russ Sanders

Keynote Russ Sanders

Our second keynote features Russ Sanders, AIA of the Phoenix, AZ ArchiCAD firm, Orcutt | Winslow. Sanders will present “Creating Your Ecosystem and Turning it Into Profits.” When you think of an ecosystem, you might think of Richard David Attenborough narrating an episode of National Geographic – but in our business, it means more than birds and trees living in harmony. It means getting your go-to people in line, driving projects forward and making it all work with ArchiCAD as your engine.

Earn 10+ AIA CEU Credits

It bears repeating that attending this conference is a fabulous way to keep current on your credits – each hour-long course is worth at least one AIA CEU. And if you attend the all the possible courses plus the keynotes, you’re logging a nice chunk of credits in a matter of days. You’re getting training from top-notch experts in the industry – and you’ll be rubbing elbows with peers from firms of all sizes. You’ll have access to a tremendous collective of ArchiCAD know-how and expertise. The full agenda is here.

San Diego in October is Fabulous!

October is a prime time of year to be in San Diego – the weather is perfect, and we’ll be right along the bay in the luxurious Coronado Island Marriot Resort and Spa. Do we need to say more? OK, we will. Considered one of the finest hotels in the San Diego area, the Coronado features five-star amenities such as intimate spa facilities, tennis courts, delicious cuisine and three heated pools. GRAPHISOFT has secured discounted rates before and after the conference conclusion – so you can extend your trip with family and really relax.

So what are you waiting for? Those pumpkins are not going to pick themselves.
