Firm Night Fabulousness
Call it an AIA after-party, call it a social gathering, or better yet call it a warm-up for our upcoming 2017 BIM Conference – our Firm Night was a fabulous success.
Where to Begin?
There were so many highlights from the party; it’s difficult to pick a starting point, let alone a single moment as my favorite for this post. I will let the pictures do the talking since they’re worth a thousand words and they capture the energy and fun of the evening. Many thanks to Jeffrey Scott Miller from Kitchen & Associates for sharing his images for this post.
A party is usually only as good as its food so let’s begin there. Fair warning, if you are reading this on an empty stomach or haven’t eaten in a while, I guarantee you will be hungrier after you read all about it.
Hand-rolled sushi and freshly grilled lamb chops greeted our guests outside the offices of Kitchen & Associates, our gracious host firm for the evening. Upon entry, a full bar was made available to revive and refresh – or help blur away two full days of convention sessions and shop talk.
The buffet held mounds of succulent seafood, from gorgeous lobster tails, to crab legs and clams casino. Seriously. If you left our party hungry, it was your own fault.
Seafood not your thing? No problem, head over to sample the comfort foods like pulled pork sliders, mac and cheese, and a pasta bar with three kinds of pasta and sauces to delight the palate. No ordinary bar menu at THIS party, let me tell you.
Friends Make it Better
And then there are the people who make the party awesome. With their energy, their smiles, and their enthusiasm. This party had that in spades for sure.
