On working with architects "They love it because they let us do our job. So it just saves time and money, and it provides a more accurate product."
"We're able to work in the same model. We're able to communicate through the model, and when changes happen it's more obvious to us. So we're able to pick them up quicker, because everything's there. We've put all the elements in, our elements or their elements, because it's in the same area. It's in the same zone. So when they take a cut of the building, the beam that they're seeing is the beam that we put in. If we move the beam, their cut automatically updates. So the client sees what the changes are. "
"We took that off the architect's plate. Because what they used to do before we kind of offered this was, they would do the old way and they would get the drawings back from the engineer, and then they would manually enter all these 3D objects into their project to be what they needed it to be, which is a real collaborative effort. We took that off their plate. 'Cause that's what we do anyway, we're sizing the beams, we know where they go, we're putting it in. We're creating the details from it. They love it because they let us do our job. So it just saves time and money, and it provides a more accurate product."
